This peace of work was done with a Bamboo wacom digital stylus pad in photoshop CS3 and took around 4 hours. I have put a lot of work on the piece of art and it has become a part of me in the process. One part being the lakeside view of the horizon and the other the sky lit up with planetary scopes and deep space. These signify the want to stay and lead a simple life and the other to show my insatiable curiosity in exploration. The line between two worlds is shown by the dark bleakness of the tree line. Also showing the tear in my heart between the two worlds because, I can only have one or the other. My life, my heart, and a computer can create something like that and it still amazes me.
My goal as an artist is not to become rich or respected or loved. It is just to make others happy. I encourage others to show me my mistakes, in itself making them better artists for noticing. The world seems to have less and less art every day and I want that to stop. We need art and I am trying to help by doing my share. All I ask is that you learn to do yours also. Russell Parnell |
